This Refund & Service Policy explains when and how refunds and service credits work. It is part of the Terms of Service. Because our third-party Merchant of Record is the seller of record, refunds are issued through the Merchant of Record and are also subject to its policies.
New flat-monthly subscriptions may be eligible for a refund if you request one within 7 days of the initial purchase, provided the service has not been substantially used or abused. After that window, and for renewal charges, payments are generally non-refundable, though you may cancel to stop future renewals (see Section 4). We may make good-faith exceptions for genuine service failures on our side.
Ad-hoc metered charges reflect compute you actually consumed (running-hour billing) and are therefore generally non-refundable. You control cost by stopping the server when you are not using it; the meter stops when the server stops. If you believe you were billed in error (for example, a metering fault or a server that failed to stop due to our error), contact support and we will investigate and correct genuine billing errors.
Approved refunds are processed by our Merchant of Record, Link, LLC (Stripe), back to your original payment method. Timing, currency conversion, and any tax adjustments follow the MoR's process and your bank's timelines. You may need to complete the request through the MoR. Because the MoR is the seller of record, its refund terms apply alongside this policy.
You can cancel at any time from your account or by contacting support. Cancelling a flat-monthly subscription stops future auto-renewals; access continues through the end of the current paid period unless you request earlier termination. Cancelling an ad-hoc server stops the meter immediately once the server is stopped. On termination, your data is retained for the grace period and then deleted as described in the Terms (Section 7). Export anything you want to keep before then.
NecroHost operates on a best-effort basis and does not provide a guaranteed uptime SLA (see Terms, Section 6). As a discretionary goodwill measure, we may offer service credits for qualifying extended downtime caused by us. Any credits are applied to future service and are not redeemable for cash unless required by law.
